My father Donald Pickett (born 1930 - died 1989) was a Royal Marine Commando on SS Engagement from September 1947 to July 1955. He was based at Deal, Eastney, Plymouth and was in Malaya where he fought with the Gurkas and has the Malayan Medal. He was also based in Hong Kong. Ganges October 1951-52. He was from Swansea.
